Black Wall Street 2.0 and our esteemed Industry partners have put together a plan in order to fulfill our mission to create a FREE and INDEPENDENT Black Economy. To do this we need the applied principles of Nguzo Saba and the clear headed and practical thinking of POWERNOMICS. Ideal and concepts are great in theory but we need people to do them. Good business is about mutual benefit. Therefore, we have created benefits to both the person and the collective so that we can successfully do business with each other as well as a Better Black Business Bureau to help strengthen and protect that business. Your membership helps us build a little or a lot based on your membership level. But the primary benefit to you is saving money and the knowledge that you're supporting black owned businesses with every discount and purchase through our site. As we build capital BWS2.0 will be able to excute more robust strategies and tactics designed to gain ownership and control of our industries and financial institutions, establishing international trade and developing resources and infrastructure.
Why do we need this?
Malcom X, Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King Jr., It would be nice if we could chant these three names over and over for seven days and that would fix everything. Many people hold the opinion that we don’t need to change. "They" do. If you talk about changing yourself it is almost like you are blaming the victim. This is not what we’re suggesting. If you have a son and he gets beat up on the playground every day you might want to confront the offending child or their parents, but would it not be a good idea to teach your son how to defend himself? Will you (a larger more physically intimidating human being) always be there to protect him? Think of that child as a nation. The reality is we need to get stronger.
We have the same power our historic giants had. Often we simply do not see it and fail to believe in ourselves and what we are capable of. Fear keeps us in mental chains, accepting the notion that someone else has the ability to define us and dictate our story. These chains are perpetuated by those who control the media, showing us images of slavery instead of great wealth, African huts instead of African castles, criminals instead of successful black entrepreneurs. People have a tendency to believe what they see, but we can change that.
" the Negro is powerless, he should seek to amass political and economic power to reach his legitimate goals " -

" Go into Japanese neighborhoods, you don't see Negro stores. Go into China town, you don’t see Negro stores. Go into Jew town, you don’t see Negro stores. But come up here in black town and every kind of store is here but yours. " -

What is all this about?
BWS2.0 Personal was designed to help you improve the welfare of the black business community and beyond.
This is about Black Economics and the fact that we need a template and structure to practice Group Economics. This is not something anyone else is going to do for us. We have to take responsibility for our own economic condition and obtain power. You can’t ask for power. You can ask for better treatment but what you actually get is determined by how much power you can weild.
We’d like to point out that Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated before the march on washington in which he was going to demand economic justice.
When is all this happening?
BWS 2.0 Personal gives us the means of providing community support to the BLACK ECONOMIC MOVEMENT which is happening RIGHT NOW. It supports multiple strategies designed to assist our businesses, create jobs in our community, recycle our dollar, help establish a deep trade relationship with Africa that is mutually beneficial, invest in Africa (like smart money is already doing), and build the infrastructure needed to take back our industries.
Black Wall Street 2.0 is the spiritual heir to the former. We do recognize Black Wall Street USA as a care-taker of the history of Black Wall Street, but our job and purpose is different. Our job is to create the foundation we need to be competitive in the world. We hope to financially support BWS USA and others that understand the meaning and value of Black Wall Street and its legacy. We also hope to reach out to churches because they have the power to influence our behavior and therefore need to be part of the game plan. And many want to be.
How can I be a part of all this?
Become a Social Activist
Today we have talking heads that hop on a plane whenever something happens to deliver our outrage to the white media with whatever fame that comes along with it. We are tired of a few acting on behalf of the many. It is because we fail to act as individuals that the minority are able to act on the behalf of the majority which often allows the powerful to negate the concept of democracy (“majority rule”); simply creating the illusion to hide the chess pieces that aren’t on the front lines.
BWS 2.0 does not support any extreme measures to rectify the problems we face. We do not support violence, terrorism, or anything else that is destructive rather than constructive. In nature there is a season for everything: winter, spring, fall, and summer. Instead, what we all need is to change our behavior and commit to doing the small things that, done in mass, would create big change. The idea of creating big change simply by casting a vote is and always was unrealistic. President Obama understood this as well. The President is not a king. He is the Chief Executive Officer of a Corporation and if he does not serve the interests of the Investors he’s out. The interests of the Investors may align to the interests of the consumer to an extent but their intent is to make money from the consumer not the other way around. When the consumer has no money they cease to have value to the corporation.
As a member of BWS 2.0 we need you to talk about Black Wall Street, about black owned products and services. We don’t need you to stand alone on a mountain top or march down Main street in sackcloth and ashes. We simply need you to include POSITIVE ENERGY in your everyday conversation that relates to Black Economics. You create positive energy almost everyday for the benefit of European companies while complaining about oppression from the same group. You may not realize it but every time you tell someone “I’m at Walmart” you are helping Walmart. By saying “I just bought a new TV for cheap on Amazon” you’re helping Amazon. Again… you may not realize it but this can be classified as “word of mouth” advertising and it is more potent than TV or Radio because it is coming from someone the person you’re talking to knows and probably trusts. They may not entirely trust these Corporations but you are unwittingly reinforcing the influence of their BRAND. This makes creating new black owned brands very difficult because they have to compete with non-black brands the black community is promoting.
What we are suggesting our members do is EASY. You’re already doing it. You’re just doing it for the wrong side. Don’t do it for them. Do it for you. Do it for your children. Stop making them cool. We’re making them kings and queens and supporting their economic agenda. It's time we support our own. Join BWS2.0 today and help us build towards a FREE and Independent Black Economy.
